Principal’s Address
Dear Families,
It has been a wonderful two weeks at our school, filled with events that showcase the talents, teamwork, and spirit of our students and staff.
We recently celebrated R U OK? Day, an important opportunity to remind one another about the power of checking in and supporting those around us. Students engaged in meaningful conversations and activities that highlighted the value of kindness, connection, and care in our school community.
Our students also participated in the Football and Netball Carnival Day, representing our school with great energy, sportsmanship, and teamwork. These days not only give students the chance to enjoy healthy competition but also to build friendships and connections across schools.
Another highlight was Wear It Purple Day, where our community proudly stood together to show support for diversity, inclusion, and respect for all. It was inspiring to see so many students and staff embrace the message of belonging.
A standout moment for us all has been our students’ incredible Wakakirri performance. Their creativity, commitment, and teamwork shone through during the recording at Cranbourne Secondary College. We are so proud of the way they represented our school on such a big stage. A big thank you to our performing arts team, Hannah, Chris and Sean for giving our students the opportunity to display their talents!
In addition, our staff have continued to strengthen their professional learning. Recently, they attended an informative ADHD Professional Development session with special guest, Rebecca Challoner. This session provided valuable insights and strategies to better support students with ADHD in their learning.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our school and the many opportunities we create together for our students. We wish you a safe and relaxing term break!

Grade 3/4
Our grade 3/4 students have had a busy and exciting term!!
In science, students have been hands on with experiments and investigations, learning about the world around them through discovery and exploration.
In art, creativity has been flowing as students experimented with different materials and techniques to produce colourful, imaginative works. Each project has allowed them to express themselves and build confidence in their artistic skills.
A big highlight was the excursion to Myuna Farm, where students had the opportunity to meet and feed the animals, explore the grounds and learn more about farming life.
We are so proud of the effort, excitement and growth our grade 3/4 students have shown this term.

It has been another busy and exciting term in the PE department!
Our Year 5, Year 6 and Year 9/10 students have all participated in swimming lessons, developing their water safety and confidence in the pool. A number of our athletes also proudly represented our school at the SSSSVA Athletics, competing in running races, shot put, long jump and vortex.
Students from our Corrigan’s Road campus enjoyed a fantastic opportunity to take part in a ‘Come and Try Rugby’ day, where they developed new skills and teamwork while experiencing a different sport.
Each Friday, our AFL and netball teams have been competing in interschool sport, showing great determination, teamwork and school spirit. Meanwhile, our development sports team took part in gymnastics sessions at the Casey Basketball Centre, exploring balance, movement and coordination in a fun environment.
During PE lessons this term, students have been exploring a range of Net Sports including volleyball, badminton, tennis and pickleball, learning about strategy, teamwork and skill development. Our junior students have been focusing on their throwing and catching skills, using scoops, fling nets and targets to build their hand–eye coordination.
Well done to all students for their enthusiasm and participation throughout the term!
